Channels
Every version lives in one or more of three channels.
| Channel | For |
|---|---|
dev | Every publish lands here by default. |
beta | Versions ready for wider testing. |
stable | Released versions. |
Versions only move forward, with hws promote: dev → beta, dev → stable, beta → stable. Promotion reuses the uploaded file. A version can only be published once per channel, so a fix means a new Version.
